I have been teaching students to safely carry a defensive firearm since Missouri first passed their Concealed Carry law. 

 

Company history:

 

  I first gained an enjoyment for the shooting sports while serving in the United States Air Force.

 

  In turn, I would take many friends and guests to the range for an "informal" session of firearm safety and range time, spreading my love for the sport. 

 

  Before moving to Missouri, a very good friend of mine in Illinois was brutally murdered.  I am convinced, to this day, that if Illinois residents were allowed to obtain concealed carry permits she would still be alive.  In my heart, I know Karyn is now with the Angels.

 

  That is the primary reason when talk came about of Missouri passing a concealed carry law in 1999 I got involved.  Unfortunately, that law did not pass but within a couple of years, the interest spiked again and I attended a Certification course so I could officially teach the Missouri concealed carry classes.

 

  Through many tough times and many obstacles to overcome, Missouri now has a lawful, statewide concealed carry law.

 

  I cannot help but think that due to this law, Missouri is now a safer state.

 

  Now, several years into this law, we (active members of MissouriCarry.com) are working to further our Second Amendment freedoms.  We gain more ground each legislative session and people are beginning to realize the old phrase of "More Guns, Less Crime" is a reality.

 

  I have now trained hundreds of students, from all over the State, to safely carry a concealed firearm.  I feel that the lack of media reports of their using the firearms unlawfully is a compliment to my training ability.  That is my reason for picking my slogan of "Training one safe shooter at a time".

 

  It was a great honor to be elected to the Board of Directors of MissouriCarry.com in September of 2007.  I cannot say enough good about that wonderful group of folks!
